In December 2020, SICCA executed Project ‘Abode of Birds’ under India Foundation for the Arts’ Neighborhood 560 Grant. The project was a series of workshops hosted online for children in the age group of 6-12 years from December 2020 to February 2021. This was accompanied with 4 on ground activities in Bangalore city. The workshops were focused on using art to reuse discarded waste at home and create birdhouses to install in parks/ gardens/ balconies and monitor them to see if birds were actually attracted to them.
